Pole Dance wurde lange Zeit vor allem mit Strip-Clubs und Rotlicht verbunden. Mittlerweile gibt es aber viele Menschen, die Pole Dance als Sport betreiben. In manchen Kontexten wie Musikvideos oder auf der Theaterbühne wird die Akrobatik auch als Kunstform gewürdigt.

Pole Battle Germany ist ein Livekunst-Erlebnis, bei dem alle, unabhängig davon, ob sie jemals an einer Tanzstange getanzt haben oder nicht, Teil der Geschichte werden können. Inspiriert vom Mythos der Versuchung, betreten die Tänzer*innenan diesem Abend die Bühne ohne festgelegte Choreografie und stellen sich einer Musik, die sie erst im Moment entdecken. Das Format lädt zu Spontaneität, Mut und echten Emotionen ein. Das Publikum sieht nicht nur zu, es entscheidet mit Energie und Applaus, wer den Battle gewinnt.

Inspired by the myth of temptation, dancers enter the stage without a set choreography, facing music they only discover in the moment.
